Black Fascia, Soffit & uPVC Ogee Gutters
Cladding & Fascia's South West Ltd were asked to carry out the Full Replacement of all the Fascia Boards, Soffits & Gutters to this home in Yeovil, Somerset.
Our customer wanted did not want the Facia's capped over like many do but not us, we always fully replace all Fascia's, Soffits & Gutters.
We carried out a full survey of the roofline and could see there were a few issues, a couple of broken tiles and missing mortar as well as a lack of airflow into the roof space.
A full written quote & Specification was provided and our quote accepted.
As with all of our works, where necessary we erect a full scaffolding system to provide a safe platform to work from, this enables us to carry out a thorough and comprehensive installation ensuring there will be no issues during the works.
This Full Replacement Fascia, Soffit & Gutter job was carried out in Yeovil, Somerset as was given the usual CAF treatment like all of our Fascia Replacements we fully remove all of the existing timber Fascia and Soffit Boards and the Guttering as well as Down Pipes, clear all nesting from the eaves and dispose of all waste.
As part of our Full Replacement Fascia Board Specification we always affix new timber bearers to the existing rafter ends to support the new Fascia & Soffit Boards as this gives a solid level line to nail into with our stainless steel 65mm ring shank nails, We then fix our new uPVC Fascia & Soffit boards to the bearers.
The next step within our process is to install the new guttering, in this instance our customer choose to have black uPVC Ogee Guttering with top hung brackets which give the appearance of seamless aluminium guttering at a fraction of the cost.
We Then install new over Fascia vents on top of the Fascia Boards across the whole length of the Fascia Board to allow air to flow into the roof space and prevent condensation in the loft, along with new eaves support trays and bird guards to prevent any further animals and rodents getting under the tiles which we then re-instate and nail into the new roofing batten.
We also removed all the timber cladding to the dormer window and installed new black uPVC ship lap Cladding to provide a uniform finish.
All of our work was then thoroughly cleaned, all waste disposed off and scaffolding removed to provide a lasting maintenance free Full Replacement Fascia, Soffit Gutter and Down Pipe system.
