Full Replacement Fascia, Soffit & Gutters
Cladding & Fascia's South West Ltd Were tasked with Replacing these badly rotten Fascia and Soffit Boards to this house in Blagdon, North Somerset.
We were chosen by the customer for our superior products that we install to the highest of standards and short lead times.
Being a local Fascia specialist we can supply and fit all types of uPVC and Timber fascias and soffits to domestic and commercial properties that give an excellent finish and last the test of time.
As with all of our works, where necessary we erect a full scaffolding system to provide a safe platform to work from, this enables us to carry out a thorough and comprehensive installation ensuring there will be no issues during the works.
Our small team of installers carefully remove the first row of tiles to assess the condition of the roofing felt and so that we can carefully dismantle the existing rotten Fascia and Soffit Boards from the rafter ends.
The guttering, Fascia and soffit boards are all fully removed and we treat all of the rafter feet with Cuprinal 5 star wood treatment which kills any potential woodworm, prevents re-infestation and prevents rot.
We then install new treated external grade timbers fixed to the existing rafters to create a straight and level line to fix the new soffit boards and fascia boards to. We then fit new uPVC guttering with a 1:300 fall which is just slightly out of level to create a fall to drain water to the new uPVC Downpipe.
We then install new eaves support trays which carry the roofing felt over the fascia boards and terminates in the gutter to ensure that no water can enter the eaves and we also install new over fascia vents to provide air flow into the roof space preventing condensation as well as bird comb under the tiles to prevent nesting of birds rodents and insects.
All rubbish is then removed from the job and disposed of appropriately, as a responsible contractor we carry waste carriage licenses and always obtain waste transfer notices which we can then email to you to show proof of correct disposal at a licensed waste disposal unit.
