Anthracite Grey Fascia and Soffit Installation
Cladding & Fascia's South West Limited have been carrying out the full replacement of the Fascia's, Soffits and Guttering to this 1980's buiilt property in the Thornford, in the heart of Dorset.
The 40 year old property had the original softwood Fascia and soffit boards installed which had become rotten beyond repair after years of hassle and expense painting, filling repairing and replacing the original Fascia's, soffit boards and gutters it was decided that a maintenance free Fascia, Soffit and Gutter scheme was required.
We carried out a full survey to analyse the existing damage and any causes for concern and it was apparent that the existing fascia's and soffits were in a poor state, which is not surprising given the age of the existing timber Fascia and Soffit Boards.
Our preferred scaffolding contractor whom we have worked with for many years erected a full scaffolding for our fitters to gain safe access to all elevations of the house and we set about removing the existing Fascia's, Soffits, Gutters and Barge Boards.
Upon removal of the existing timber Fascia's, Soffits and Gutters we could see the extent of damage that years of water ingress, birds nesting and mice infestation had left behind with the eaves full of nests trapping moisture in the eaves space rotten timbers were present which we treated and repaired.
We installed new Anthracite Grey uPVC Fascia and Soffit boards as well as new Anthracite Grey Square guttering, which is a high capacity profile to ensure the rainwater is properly dispersed into the down spouts in even the most severe of rain storms for years to come,
